About KWG
I have been building and repairing all types of guitars and basses from my workshop in Bridgwater, Somerset, UK since1981.
After 9 years experience of being a time served carpenter and joiner, and obsessed with woodwork, the guitar making bug then bit me. So I attended evening classes in acoustic guitar construction and design, and also solid body guitar construction and design.
To further my knowledge, I read and digested every book and source of information on luthiery that I could find. Back then, before the web, information was sometimes difficult to find. So I am partially self-taught too, which I believe gives me an open mind in all aspects of guitar design, repair and construction.
Thank you to my friends and family for supporting and helping me fulfil my ambitions and dreams. Without them, none of this would have been possible.
